RTP events: questionable IP addresses, and pia-service.exe compromised?

I've seen similar posts, but nothing satisfactory. If there's a good thread somewhere, please direct me there. I recently installed malwarebytes after a short stint with bitdefender. Switched back to malwarebytes simply because of price. Almost immediately it started notifying me of two recurring alerts: 1) pia-service.exe is compromised; and 2) ip addresses being flagged as malware. I get the alerts about every minute.
